3D Interaction

3D interaction research focuses on accurately modeling and generating realistic human-object and human-scene interactions in three-dimensional space. Current efforts concentrate on developing models, often employing diffusion models and generative adversarial networks (GANs), that can synthesize these interactions from various inputs like text descriptions or 2D images, leveraging learned priors about object affordances and human behavior. This field is crucial for advancing embodied AI, robotics, and virtual/augmented reality applications by enabling more natural and intuitive interactions between humans and digital environments. The development of large-scale, accurately annotated datasets is also a key area of focus, driving improvements in model performance and generalization capabilities.
