3D Knee MR Image
3D knee MR image analysis focuses on accurately segmenting and characterizing knee structures from three-dimensional magnetic resonance images, crucial for diagnosing conditions like osteoarthritis. Current research emphasizes overcoming challenges like data scarcity and heterogeneity through techniques such as federated learning, few-shot learning, and the adaptation of advanced models like transformers (e.g., Swin Transformer) and prompt-based segmentation models (e.g., SAM). These advancements aim to improve segmentation accuracy, particularly for challenging classes like cartilage, and address noise inherent in 3D FSE MRI, ultimately leading to more efficient and reliable clinical diagnosis and treatment planning.
