Accessibility Testing
Accessibility testing aims to ensure digital products are usable by people with disabilities, focusing on improving inclusivity and user experience. Current research emphasizes automating this process, employing techniques like large language models (LLMs) to generate and execute tests from natural language descriptions, and to suggest code fixes for identified accessibility issues. This work also includes developing methods for generating synthetic data, such as simulated stuttering speech, to rigorously evaluate the performance of assistive technologies like automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems. The ultimate goal is to create more robust and inclusive digital environments through improved testing methodologies and automated remediation tools.
