Adaptive Scaffolding
Adaptive scaffolding in artificial intelligence focuses on providing tailored support to learners or systems during the learning process, mirroring human tutoring techniques. Current research emphasizes the use of large language models (LLMs) and generative adversarial networks (GANs) to create intelligent tutoring systems and to improve the performance of multi-modal models in vision-language tasks, often through techniques like chain-of-thought prompting and coordinate scaffolding. This work is significant for advancing human-AI collaboration in creative fields like writing and design, as well as improving the efficiency and effectiveness of AI-driven learning in various domains, including robotics and programming education. The development of automated evaluation methods for these systems is also a key area of focus.
