Aedes Mosquito
Aedes mosquitoes are a significant public health concern, transmitting diseases like dengue, Zika, and yellow fever. Current research focuses on developing innovative and efficient methods for mosquito surveillance and control, employing techniques such as autonomous robotic systems for breeding site elimination, advanced deep learning models (including convolutional neural networks and vision transformers) for species identification and disease detection based on visual and acoustic data, and IoT-based monitoring systems for proactive population management. These advancements aim to improve disease prevention and control strategies, offering significant potential for public health interventions and ecological monitoring.
