Agent Communication
Agent communication research focuses on enabling artificial agents to effectively collaborate and share information, mirroring human teamwork. Current efforts concentrate on developing robust and efficient communication protocols, often leveraging large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning (RL) to learn communication strategies from scratch, incorporating spatial awareness, and mitigating vulnerabilities to manipulated knowledge. These advancements are crucial for building more sophisticated multi-agent systems for applications ranging from manufacturing and traffic control to collaborative problem-solving, improving both the performance and trustworthiness of AI systems.
