Current efforts concentrate on integrating large language models (LLMs), large vision models (LVMs), and multimodal models for tasks like precision farming, crop monitoring (including pest and disease detection), and automated harvesting, often employing architectures such as Swin Transformers and YOLOv5. These advancements aim to address challenges in labor shortages, yield optimization, and environmental impact, ultimately enhancing food production and resource management.
