Amino Acid
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, and understanding their properties and interactions is crucial for numerous biological and technological applications. Current research heavily focuses on developing advanced computational models, including generative AI, graph neural networks, and transformer-based architectures, to design novel amino acid sequences and predict their effects on protein structure and function. This work aims to improve protein engineering for drug discovery, materials science, and other fields by enabling the creation of proteins with tailored properties and exploring the vast space of possible amino acid combinations beyond naturally occurring ones. The resulting advancements in protein design and prediction have significant implications for various scientific disciplines and technological innovations.
