Analog Array
Analog arrays, comprising multiple sensors arranged in a specific configuration, aim to accurately determine the direction of arrival (DOA) of signals, crucial for applications like robot audition and secure communication. Current research focuses on improving DOA estimation accuracy, particularly in challenging scenarios such as moving sensor arrays and the presence of adversarial signals, employing techniques like motion compensation, one-class classification, and machine learning-based approaches such as nearest neighbor search on pre-computed DOA mappings. These advancements enhance the reliability and robustness of DOA estimation, impacting fields ranging from robotics and human-computer interaction to secure wireless communication systems.
