Ant Nesting Algorithm
Ant nesting algorithms encompass a range of bio-inspired optimization techniques mimicking ant colony behavior for solving complex problems. Current research focuses on refining existing algorithms like Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) through Markov chain analysis to better understand their runtime performance, and developing novel algorithms such as the Ant Nesting Algorithm (ANA), inspired by ant nest building, for continuous optimization problems. These algorithms find applications in diverse fields, including neural architecture search, solving routing problems like the Capacitated Arc Routing Problem (CARP), data mining, and even search and rescue operations, demonstrating their versatility and potential for practical impact.
