Antisemitic Hate Speech
Research on antisemitic hate speech focuses on developing automated methods for detecting and monitoring its evolution across online platforms, particularly on social media. Current efforts leverage advanced natural language processing techniques, including transformer-based models like BERT and RoBERTa, and multimodal approaches incorporating images and text, to identify both explicit and coded forms of antisemitism, including evolving terminology and memetic expressions. This work is crucial for understanding the spread of antisemitism online, informing content moderation strategies, and contributing to a safer digital environment, while also highlighting the challenges of accurately identifying subtle or evolving forms of hate speech.
