Arbitrary Pose
Arbitrary pose research focuses on accurately representing and manipulating objects or humans in any conceivable 3D orientation, a crucial challenge across robotics, computer vision, and graphics. Current efforts concentrate on developing robust models, often employing neural networks (including hypernetworks and those leveraging explicit and implicit representations) and algorithms like Monte Carlo Tree Search, to achieve this across diverse applications. These advancements enable more realistic virtual try-ons, improved robotic manipulation through accurate pose estimation and shape completion, and efficient human animation and reposing, impacting fields ranging from e-commerce to autonomous navigation.
