Argumentation Scheme

Argumentation schemes are structured frameworks for representing and analyzing arguments, aiming to clarify the underlying logic and assumptions within reasoning processes. Current research focuses on applying these schemes to diverse fields, including multimodal reasoning (using graph-based models to manage complex information), clinical decision-making (improving explainability and trust in AI-driven diagnoses), and legal reasoning (enhancing transparency and rigor in forensic analysis and case evaluation). This work contributes to improved AI systems by promoting more robust, transparent, and understandable reasoning, with implications for various domains requiring rigorous argumentation and decision-making.
