Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction

Aspect Sentiment Quad Prediction (ASQP) aims to extract four key elements—aspect term, aspect category, opinion term, and sentiment polarity—from text expressing opinions, providing a comprehensive understanding of sentiment at the aspect level. Current research focuses on addressing data scarcity through techniques like self-training with pseudo-label scoring and data augmentation strategies tailored to address class imbalances, often employing pre-trained language models and generative approaches with various template designs. Improved ASQP models offer significant potential for enhancing applications in sentiment analysis, enabling more nuanced and accurate understanding of customer feedback, product reviews, and other opinionated text.
