Belief Change
Belief change studies how beliefs are updated in response to new information, aiming to model rational belief revision and its implications across various domains. Current research focuses on developing formal frameworks, often using logic-based or graph-based models, to represent and analyze belief dynamics in diverse contexts, including human-AI interaction, social networks, and large language models. This work has significant implications for improving explainable AI, understanding human reasoning and decision-making, and designing more robust and reliable autonomous systems.
