Biological Circuit
Biological circuits, encompassing neural and biochemical cascades, are being investigated to understand their design principles and to leverage these principles for designing more efficient artificial systems. Current research focuses on developing novel machine learning models, including transformers, graph neural networks, and chemical reaction networks, to design and analyze both biological and artificial circuits, often employing reinforcement learning for optimization. This research is significant for advancing both our understanding of biological systems and for creating more efficient and robust artificial circuits for applications ranging from neuromorphic computing to drug delivery.
