Black Hole
Black holes, regions of spacetime with extreme gravity, are a central focus in astrophysics, with research aiming to understand their formation, properties, and interaction with their environment. Current investigations utilize advanced techniques like neural networks (including physics-informed and convolutional neural networks) and Gaussian processes to model black hole accretion processes, reconstruct three-dimensional emission structures from observational data (e.g., from the Event Horizon Telescope), and improve the accuracy and uncertainty quantification of mass estimations. These efforts are crucial for refining our understanding of fundamental physics, galaxy evolution, and the universe's large-scale structure.
