Blended Image
Blended images, created by combining or manipulating existing images, are central to several active research areas. Current work focuses on leveraging blended images for improved deepfake detection, employing techniques like frequency analysis and multi-scale feature reconstruction networks to identify subtle forgery artifacts. This research also explores the use of blended images in training models for various computer vision tasks, including long-tailed recognition, where supervised contrastive learning on blended data helps mitigate class imbalance issues. The resulting advancements have significant implications for enhancing the robustness and generalizability of image analysis and generation models, with direct applications in security and multimedia forensics.
