Bone Tracking
Bone tracking research aims to accurately and reliably determine bone position and movement, primarily for applications in orthopedic surgery and robotics. Current efforts focus on developing non-invasive methods, such as ultrasound-based tracking using deep learning architectures like U-Nets and CasAtt-UNet, to improve precision and reduce reliance on potentially harmful surgical markers. These advancements offer the potential for safer, more efficient surgical procedures and improved accuracy in robotic-assisted interventions, ultimately enhancing patient care and outcomes.
