Bounded Rational
Bounded rationality models decision-making under constraints, acknowledging that agents possess limited computational resources and imperfect information, unlike traditional rational choice theory. Current research focuses on developing and applying models like quantal response equilibria and latent inference budget models to diverse domains, including multi-agent systems (e.g., autonomous vehicle-pedestrian interaction, multi-robot coordination) and human-AI collaboration. This research is significant for improving the realism and effectiveness of AI agents interacting with complex, uncertain environments and for gaining a deeper understanding of human decision-making processes.
