Brain Function
Brain function research aims to understand how the brain processes information, generates behavior, and supports cognition. Current investigations focus on developing and applying advanced computational models, including graph neural networks, diffusion models, and multimodal large language models, to analyze neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG, MEG) and predict brain activity from various stimuli, including language, images, and music. These efforts are improving our understanding of brain organization, cognitive processes, and neurological disorders, with potential applications in brain-computer interfaces, personalized medicine, and AI development. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between artificial and biological intelligence, leading to more biologically plausible and efficient AI systems.
