Brain Modeling
Brain modeling aims to create computational representations of neural systems to understand cognitive processes and brain function. Current research focuses on developing sophisticated models, including large-scale neural networks (like Large Brain Models) for analyzing EEG and fMRI data, and novel geometric approaches (e.g., Solv geometry) for representing brain connectomes. These advancements are improving our ability to decode brain activity, predict behavior, and diagnose neurological conditions, ultimately leading to more effective brain-computer interfaces and a deeper understanding of the brain's computational mechanisms.
