Brain Phenotype
Brain phenotype research focuses on characterizing the brain's observable characteristics—structural, functional, and genetic—to understand individual differences and disease heterogeneity. Current research heavily utilizes machine learning, particularly deep learning models like autoencoders and multi-view networks, to analyze multimodal neuroimaging data (e.g., MRI, PET/MR) and genetic information, aiming to identify robust biomarkers and disease subtypes. This work is crucial for advancing precision medicine by enabling more accurate diagnoses, prognoses, and personalized treatment strategies for neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders, improving the interpretability and reliability of AI-driven neuroimaging analysis.
