Capability Ontology
Capability ontologies provide a machine-readable representation of system functionalities, aiming to standardize and automate processes involving complex systems. Current research focuses on automating the creation of these ontologies using large language models and integrating them with AI planning techniques for tasks like automated process planning in manufacturing and robotics. This work is significant because it promises to improve efficiency and interoperability across diverse systems by enabling automated reasoning and knowledge sharing about system capabilities.
