Cardiac Anatomy

Cardiac anatomy research focuses on accurately modeling and analyzing the heart's structure, particularly for diagnosing and treating congenital heart defects and other cardiovascular diseases. Current efforts leverage deep learning, employing architectures like convolutional neural networks and generative models (e.g., Pix2Vox++, SDF-based models) to reconstruct 3D cardiac anatomy from 2D imaging data (e.g., MRI, echocardiograms) and create realistic computer simulations. These advancements improve diagnostic accuracy, personalize treatment planning, and facilitate the development of new biomarkers for various cardiac conditions.
