Cell Receptor

Cell receptors, particularly T-cell receptors (TCRs), are crucial proteins mediating immune responses, with their binding specificity to antigens being central to effective immunity and cancer immunotherapy. Current research heavily focuses on developing accurate computational models, employing techniques like deep learning (including transformers, masked language models, and contrastive learning), and multiple instance learning, to predict TCR-antigen binding and improve the design of personalized cancer therapies. These advancements aim to overcome challenges posed by the vast diversity of TCRs and the limited availability of labeled data, ultimately leading to more effective immunotherapies and a deeper understanding of the immune system's role in disease.
