Chronic Disease
Chronic diseases, representing a significant global health burden, are the focus of intense research aiming to improve early detection, personalized management, and prediction of disease progression. Current research utilizes machine learning, particularly ensemble methods and deep learning architectures like large language multimodal models (LLMMs), to analyze electronic health records (EHRs) and other patient data, identifying risk factors and predicting disease trajectories for improved diagnosis and treatment strategies. This work holds significant promise for enhancing healthcare through earlier interventions, more effective personalized care, and the development of user-centric decision support systems.
