Clickbait Title
Clickbait research focuses on detecting and mitigating the deceptive practices used to entice users into clicking online content. Current efforts concentrate on developing sophisticated natural language processing (NLP) models, including large language models (LLMs), question-answering systems, and transformer-based architectures, to automatically identify clickbait headlines and generate concise "spoilers" that satisfy user curiosity without requiring a click. This work is significant because it addresses the negative impacts of clickbait on user experience and the spread of misinformation, offering potential improvements to online content recommendation and user trust.
