Collaborative Dialogue
Collaborative dialogue research focuses on enabling machines to engage in effective and natural conversations with humans for shared task completion, emphasizing mutual understanding and efficient information exchange. Current research explores model architectures like transformers and LSTMs, often incorporating multimodal data (text and images) and focusing on areas such as clarification question generation, grounding of shared information, and analysis of team dynamics in collaborative settings. This work is crucial for advancing human-AI interaction in diverse applications, including robotics, autonomous driving, and software development, by improving the reliability and naturalness of human-machine communication.
