Color Reconstruction
Color reconstruction aims to accurately recover color information from various sources, including single images, specialized sensors like Dynamic Vision Sensors (DVS), and historical film formats. Current research heavily utilizes deep learning, employing neural networks to achieve photorealistic results, often incorporating novel architectures like implicit texture fields and Fourier occupancy fields to improve 3D perception and handle occlusions. These advancements are impacting fields such as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), allowing for more realistic 3D human rendering, and also enabling the digitization and preservation of historical visual media.
