Color Transformation

Color transformation research focuses on efficiently and accurately altering color information within images and videos for various applications. Current efforts concentrate on developing novel algorithms and model architectures, such as neural networks (including MLPs and CNNs) and adaptive lookup tables (LUTs), to achieve real-time performance and high-fidelity results across diverse color spaces (RGB, HSV, CIEXYZ, etc.). These advancements are improving image enhancement, style transfer, object recognition (particularly person re-identification), and depth estimation, impacting fields ranging from computer vision to astronomy.
