Combustion System
Combustion system research focuses on optimizing efficiency, stability, and emissions reduction, primarily through advanced control and modeling techniques. Current efforts leverage machine learning, particularly deep neural networks (DNNs) including LSTMs and DeepONets, to improve model predictive control (MPC), accelerate complex chemical kinetics calculations, and enhance data analysis from high-dimensional datasets like those generated by flame emission spectroscopy. These advancements enable more accurate real-time monitoring, improved combustion control strategies, and more efficient simulations, ultimately impacting engine design, energy production, and environmental protection.
