Computational Pathology CPath
Computational pathology (CPath) uses computational methods, primarily deep learning and computer vision, to analyze digitized pathology images, aiming to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment decisions in oncology and other fields. Current research focuses on developing robust algorithms that are less sensitive to variations in image quality (e.g., staining, resolution) and on creating efficient workflows for integrating these tools into clinical practice. The successful integration of CPath into clinical and pharmaceutical settings holds significant promise for accelerating research, improving patient care, and transforming the field of pathology.
