Conjunctive Query
Conjunctive queries, a fundamental type of database query involving the logical AND operation, are central to knowledge graph reasoning and ontology-based data access. Current research focuses on efficiently answering these queries, especially over incomplete or multi-modal knowledge graphs, employing techniques like query embedding methods (often using transformers or graph neural networks) and novel algorithms for query rewriting and optimization. These advancements are crucial for improving the accuracy and efficiency of knowledge-based systems across diverse applications, including question answering, data integration, and decision support.
