Conservative System
Conservative systems, characterized by the conservation of energy, are a central focus in physics and related fields, with research aiming to understand their dynamics and control. Current research employs various machine learning approaches, including Hamiltonian Neural Networks (HNNs) and Gaussian Processes, to model and analyze these systems, often incorporating physical constraints like energy conservation or Lagrangian/Hamiltonian structures to improve accuracy and interpretability. This work extends to understanding and modeling non-conservative systems by separating conservative and dissipative components, with applications ranging from predicting the behavior of complex physical systems to optimizing control in engineering and even social systems.
