Construction Environment
Construction environment research focuses on improving safety, efficiency, and productivity through technological advancements. Current efforts center on developing autonomous robots and vehicles for tasks like monitoring, inspection, and material handling, leveraging computer vision, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems with architectures like YOLO and convolutional neural networks. These advancements utilize data from sources such as 4D BIM and GPS trajectories to enhance situational awareness and decision-making, ultimately aiming to create safer and more efficient construction sites. The resulting improvements in safety, automation, and data-driven insights have significant implications for the construction industry and related fields.
