Coronary Artery
Coronary arteries are the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle, and their health is crucial for cardiovascular function. Current research heavily focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of coronary artery imaging and analysis, employing advanced techniques like deep learning (including U-Net variations, graph convolutional networks, and diffusion models) to reconstruct 3D artery structures from sparse X-ray or CT data, segment vessels, and predict hemodynamic parameters like fractional flow reserve (FFR). These advancements enable more precise diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD), facilitating better treatment planning and potentially reducing the need for invasive procedures. Improved automated analysis tools also promise to enhance the efficiency and reproducibility of CAD assessment.
