Creativity Assessment
Creativity assessment is a rapidly evolving field aiming to objectively measure and understand creative processes in both humans and artificial intelligence. Current research focuses on developing computational models, including large language models (LLMs) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs), to automatically evaluate creativity across various modalities like text, images, and code, often leveraging metrics such as novelty, originality, and fluency. These advancements offer more efficient and potentially more objective methods for assessing creativity compared to traditional human-based evaluations, with implications for fields like education, design, and the development of more creative AI systems.
