Cross Technology
Cross-technology communication (CTC) aims to enable seamless data exchange between disparate systems and technologies, overcoming limitations of incompatible interfaces and protocols. Current research focuses on developing efficient and reliable CTC methods, employing neural network architectures for end-to-end learning and joint source-channel coding to optimize both data compression and transmission robustness across diverse communication channels, including wireless networks and even wafer-scale interconnects for high-performance computing. These advancements are significant for improving interoperability in robotics, distributed computing, and various IoT applications, leading to more integrated and efficient systems.
