CT Perfusion

CT perfusion (CTP) is a medical imaging technique used to assess blood flow in tissues, primarily focusing on identifying ischemic regions in the brain and liver. Current research emphasizes developing advanced image analysis techniques, including deep learning models like 4D convolutional neural networks and graph neural networks, to improve the accuracy and speed of lesion segmentation and characterization from CTP data. These advancements aim to enhance diagnostic capabilities, particularly in time-sensitive conditions like stroke, by providing more precise and efficient identification of affected areas, ultimately aiding treatment planning and improving patient outcomes.
