Cultural Sign

"Cultural signs," in the context of recent research, encompass a broad range of visual and linguistic symbols whose interpretation and representation are being investigated using machine learning. Current research focuses on automated detection and classification of these signs in diverse settings, from traffic signs for autonomous driving to sign language translation and the identification of cultural elements in images. This work leverages various model architectures, including graph neural networks, deep learning models for image and video analysis, and large language models, aiming to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cultural sensitivity in automated systems. The ultimate goal is to develop more robust and inclusive AI systems capable of understanding and interacting with the world in a culturally aware manner, with applications ranging from improved road safety to more accessible communication technologies.
