Cyber Bullying
Cyberbullying, the online harassment and abuse of individuals, is a significant public health concern, prompting research focused on automated detection and mitigation. Current research heavily utilizes machine learning, particularly deep learning models like LSTMs, BERT, and other transformer architectures, along with ensemble methods, to identify cyberbullying across various languages and platforms, including the analysis of multimodal content like memes. This work aims to improve the safety and well-being of online users by developing more accurate and efficient detection systems, informing the design of interventions, and contributing to a better understanding of the phenomenon itself.
