Dairy Cattle
Dairy cattle research is increasingly focused on improving animal welfare and optimizing farm management through technological advancements. Current studies leverage machine learning, particularly deep learning models and ensemble methods, to analyze data from various sources, including video, accelerometers, and audio recordings, to automatically assess animal behavior, health (e.g., mastitis detection), and physiological states. This work aims to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in tasks like health monitoring, breeding, and automated decision-making, ultimately impacting both animal welfare and the economic viability of dairy farming.
