Data Re Annotation
Data re-annotation focuses on improving the quality and consistency of labeled datasets used to train machine learning models, addressing issues like human error, bias, and inconsistencies in existing annotations. Current research explores using large language models (LLMs) and other AI methods, such as prototypical networks and active learning techniques incorporating human-in-the-loop feedback, to automate or enhance the re-annotation process, often targeting specific domains like medical imaging and natural language processing. This work is crucial for advancing the reliability and performance of machine learning models across various applications, as high-quality annotated data is essential for building robust and trustworthy AI systems. The development of standardized annotation guidelines and evaluation metrics is also a key area of focus.
