Deformable DETR
Deformable DETR is a transformer-based object detection approach aiming to improve upon the efficiency and accuracy of earlier DETR models. Current research focuses on enhancing query selection and refinement strategies, developing semi-supervised and open-vocabulary versions, and optimizing model architectures for speed and accuracy, particularly in challenging scenarios like crowded scenes or slender object detection. These advancements address limitations in training speed and performance, leading to more efficient and robust object detection systems with applications in various fields. The resulting improvements in accuracy and speed are significant for both research and real-world deployment.
