Deformable Neural Radiance Field

Deformable Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) extend traditional NeRFs by enabling the modeling and manipulation of 3D objects that undergo deformation, such as human faces or other dynamic scenes. Current research focuses on improving the efficiency and accuracy of these models, often employing techniques like recursively subdivided tetrahedra for efficient mesh representation and incorporating data from multiple sources, including RGB and event cameras, to handle high-speed deformations. This work is significant for its potential to advance realistic avatar creation, high-fidelity video synthesis, and more generally, the ability to create and manipulate complex 3D scenes with high visual fidelity.
