Delegation Decision

Delegation decision research focuses on optimizing the allocation of tasks or decisions between human and artificial intelligence (AI) agents within hybrid teams, aiming to maximize overall performance and efficiency. Current research employs reinforcement learning algorithms and various delegation models, including liquid democracy frameworks, to learn optimal delegation strategies based on agent capabilities, risk tolerance, and contextual information. This work is significant for improving human-AI collaboration in diverse applications, from autonomous driving to complex decision-making systems, by enhancing team performance and mitigating potential failures stemming from individual agent limitations.
