Digital Humanity
Digital Humanities leverages computational methods, particularly artificial intelligence, to analyze and interpret humanities data like texts, images, and audio. Current research focuses on developing and applying AI models, including deep neural networks, generative pre-trained transformers (GPTs), and convolutional neural networks (CNNs), to tasks such as text analysis, image retrieval, and speech recognition within large-scale cultural heritage collections. This interdisciplinary field significantly advances scholarly research by enabling large-scale analysis, improved accessibility of historical materials, and the development of new tools for humanistic inquiry.
