Discourse Pattern
Discourse pattern research focuses on understanding how sentences and paragraphs are structured and connected to form coherent texts, aiming to analyze and model the flow of information in human and machine-generated language. Current research employs various methods, including graph-based models that capture relationships between sentences and clauses, and reinforcement learning techniques to optimize the generation of coherent long-form text. This work is crucial for improving the quality and coherence of machine-generated text, enhancing human-computer interaction, and providing new tools for analyzing educational discourse and other forms of communication.
