Domain Specific Knowledge Base
Domain-specific knowledge bases are structured repositories of information tailored to a particular field, used to enhance the performance of large language models (LLMs) in tasks like question answering and decision-making. Current research focuses on integrating these knowledge bases with LLMs using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, exploring methods to improve knowledge base construction and efficient knowledge integration for improved accuracy and explainability. This work is significant because it allows LLMs to leverage expert knowledge, leading to more reliable and insightful applications across diverse fields, from finance and healthcare to the humanities.
